BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A teenager is accused of killing another teen outside a Baton Rouge business Monday morning, Oct. 10.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy for allegedly shooting and killing Dedrick Wagner, 17, on Terrace Avenue, near S. 15th Avenue.

Wagner was shot by the suspect outside a business around 11:15 a.m., police say.

The teenage suspect was reportedly booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Detention Center for second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

This is an ongoing investigation.
